Une chanson évoquant le cauchemar d’une apocalypse nucléaire du groupe « TeaPacks », illustrant l’inquiétude grandissante du pays quant au programme nucléaire de l’Iran, a été plébiscitée par les auditeurs israéliens pour représenter Israël au concours de l’Eurovision .
Le groupe Teapacks présentait quatre chansons pour représenter Israël au Concours Eurovision de la Chanson 2007. La soirée s’est déroulé en compagnie d’anciens représentants d’Israël et d’un ancien représentant français : Guy Mardel, qui avait représenté la France en 1965.
Après le vote, c’est « Push the button » (Appuie sur le bouton) qui est désignée pour représenter Israël à Helsinki.

La chanson sera interprétée lors du concours européen qui se tient cette année le 10 mai à Helsinki en Finlande.
« Il existe des dirigeants déments qui aspirent à nuire avec des technologies diaboliques et ils vont presser le bouton » : les paroles écrites par Kobi Oz, figure haute en couleur du groupe, se réfèrent, sans le citer nommément, au président iranien Mahmoud Ahmadinejad qui a appelé publiquement à « rayer » Israël de la carte.
La chanson, aux airs mêlant rock et rythmes méditerranéens comporte des passages en hébreu, anglais et français.
